SATURDAY, AUGUST 5 – Dirty Blanket comes to Inspire Moore Winery with opening act Raed Bolton for the second installment of the “Dirty Dead” band iteration, and continuation of the popular “Dirty Dead” event! Dirty Blanket will be playing 2 full sets of Grateful Dead music in a fast-paced, semi-psychedelic bluegrass style! There will be Woodfired Pizza, an outdoor bar and food trucks available. Doors at 5 PM. Music starts at 6 PM. Tickets are $20.

Dirty Blanket have toured the American Northeast, making names for themselves on festival circuits and in cities like New York, DC, Baltimore, Burlington, and beyond. To date, they’ve shared stages with some of the highest profile names in bluegrass including Billy Strings, The Del McCoury Band, The Infamous String Dusters, Jeff Austin Band, Kitchen Dwellers and more.

The seeds of Dirty Blanket were planted in 2013 at the meeting of guitarist Max Flansburg and singer/songwriter Kevin O’Leary. Combining an array of influence with a passion for creating original music, the two began playing as an acoustic duo, utilizing what free time their other musical projects allowed to share their latest material with audiences across Upstate NY. A few years later, regional musicians Richie Colf, Joel Fedkiw and Aaron Oldweiler were added to the roster on the mandolin, banjo, and upright bass, rounding out the band lineup as the 5-piece, fast-paced, alternative improvisational bluegrass band they are today.
